Replay: Breathing with The Wheel of Fortune
Hello you,
It was an absolute delight to practice with you all last night. In true Wheel of Fortune style we changed things up a little, bringing in a juicy yoga nidra practice to compliment the breathwork and help you settle deeper into rest in these dark winter nights.
And for those of you who couldn’t be there – the recording! Plus the playlist, and a video outlining the basics of 3-part breath for folks who are new to this type of breathwork.
If you’re not yet a paid subscriber you can unlock this replay (and join us for the next live practice) for £7 a month.

How to do the 3-Part Breath
After care
Breathwork can stir up intense feelings and sensations, so if you’re feeling a little tender that’s totally understandable. Go slow and be sweet with yourself over the next few days.
If you’re feeling really upside down and destabilised, please reach out. You can also find resources for more immediate support via the Mind website, which includes suggestions for what you can do to help yourself cope and a collection of (UK-based) mental health helplines and listening services.
If it was your first time experiencing breathwork I really recommend returning to it again. Our systems can get a little freaked out the first time we try something new, but breathwork is a practice. Each time is a new experience. Your relationship with your breath and the capacity to stay with yourself evolves over time.
There are lots of ways to continue your breathwork practice. I work one-to-one as well as hosting these monthly sessions. I’ve also included a list below of other breathwork practitioners and resources for you to dive deeper.
I offer one-to-one breathwork sessions every month with sliding-scale pricing. You can check availability and book a session here.
If you’re a big book nerd like me I can’t recommend Jennye Patterson’s brilliant and accessible book - The Power of Breathwork - highly enough. It covers a myriad of ways that the breath can support you.
Ope_n is the only app I use in my own breathwork practice. They have a great online studio with a range of breathwork practices available on their app. You can try a free month through this link.
Every breathworker brings a different angle on the practice. If you want to explore, other practitioners that I really respect (and practice with) include: Chauna Bryant, Jennye Patterson, Susan Ateh, and Amy Kuretsky
If there’s any feedback or questions about our session I would love to hear from you. Just hit reply to this email and come slip into my inbox.
