Hello you,
Welcome to the first letter from this new space! Kick your shoes off, make yourself comfortable.
You probably won’t be surprised to find that In Practice is a newsletter about embodiment. To be honest though, I often find myself struggling to articulate what that really means, because embodiment weaves into everything.
Embodiment is how we live our lives. It’s how we inhabit our bodies, and how we relate to the world. It’s coming home, again and again, to the truth of ourselves. It’s peeling back all the things that block that expression, the fear and shame and ego stories. It’s reimagining how things could be, and doing what we can to embody those visions with our actions. It’s remembering our magic.
So, each fortnight we’ll meander through what it’s like to practice embodiment. In the real world. Because it’s so easy to talk about, and a little messier in practice.
Okay, intention set, seed planted. I know you all just heard from me on Thursday so I’ll keep this one short.
I’ll close with a final reminder - today is your last opportunity to get a forever discount on paid subscriptions. That means just £4 a month, or £40 a year, for as long as you’re here. You’ll get practice recordings, community discussion threads, and links to things that have sparked my curiosity, all to help you be in practice.
The first recording is coming next Monday. We’ll be exploring how to return to centre. A practice of holding yourself true, as the world spins around you. There’s a beautiful collection of folk gathering already, I’d love to have you with us.
