Hello you,
Before we get into today’s zine, I have a reminder for you. Paid subscribers are joining me today (7pm UK time, Sunday November 5th) for Breathe with The Hermit. We’ll be touching on themes of retreat, re-centring, and shining your unique light into the world. If you’re feeling the need to come back to yourself, this is for you.
Want to join us? Just become a paid subscriber (from £7/month) and head to this post to register for the Zoom session.
Okay, now on to the zine...
G could have been for Guru, or Gathering In, or Grateful. It could’ve been for a lot of things, but I promised myself that this A-Z of Breathwork series would be directly related to my personal practice and what’s been showing up a lot lately is Grief.
I lay down to breathe and my heart is tender with grief for past versions of me, for the things that didn’t work out as I hoped, for lost loved ones, for the climate crisis, for the genocide unfolding through the small screen of my phone. It spirals out from the personal to the collective and back in again.
I’m learning how to be with it. To feel it. Not to turn away. I’m learning that feeling the grief makes everything else more vibrant.
The zine is below, and you can also find a link to the pdf version here.
You are magic and amazing and I adore you.
