Hello you,
The Japanese maple in my garden knows that it’s the time of the year for change. Its tiny leaves are an ombre of burning red and bright orange as it readies itself for the cool months ahead. In the shifting, transitional energy of Autumn it knows that what worked for summer won’t serve for winter.
I’m feeling much the same. Now is the time for drawing our energy back in. The time to notice what’s fattened over the summer, ready to be harvested, and where we’ve overextended ourselves and need to reconsider.
What will you be carrying forward through the winter and what do you know, deep down in your gut, is ready to place on the compost?
This month’s playlist is an Autumnal celebration of change, and all the feels that can come with transitions. A little musical spell to anchor you as you transform.
And then, as always, I also come bearing a bounty of links. Things that have excited or challenged or made me laugh or delighted me this month. I hope you find something juicy in there
